Tara Alisbah explains her keen observations and demonstrates the Turkish hand gestures in her living room to the program host Ozgul Andican. Tara self-published a unique, friendly, fun and easy to read book titled, “Turkish Hands” which is appealing to Turks and Americans alike.

“A Small Truth”, a short film by director Emre Akay, 2010. The narrator is seeking a truth from his family’s past and takes the viewer to 1940’s Kars. Celal Bey, nicknamed as the “The Athlete” strongly believes in the modernist values of his time; the story of how he acquired his nickname is cinematographically conveyed humorously.
